I offer support and classes which are all mother-centred, nourishing you as you recover from the whirlwind of pregnancy and birth and nurturing you as you experience the highs and lows of early motherhood.  From yoga to practical and emotional support, I can be there with you every step of the way.

POSTNATAL YOGA

THURSDAY MORNINGS, WIMBORNE WELLNESS CENTRE

Postnatal yoga helps you ease out the aches of feeding, carrying, and sleepless nights – while gently rebuilding strength, reconnecting with your pelvic floor, and giving your mind a moment to breathe.

Taught through the accredited LushTums method, every class blends movement, breathwork, and relaxation, tailored with care for your postnatal body and birth journey.

Choose the class that fits your season of motherhood:

  • Mum & Baby Yoga – newborn to pre-crawling: gentle movement, song & massage, supporting your recovery while bonding with baby.
  • Mamas & Movers Yoga – crawling to 18 months: playful, energising sessions as your little one explores alongside you.

More than yoga – it’s a space to feel seen, supported, and surrounded by mums who get it.

Do I need yoga experience to join you?

Not at all!  This is a gentle class focusing on reconnecting with your body after birth, slowly regaining strength, connecting with your baby and other new Mums.  All levels of yoga experience are welcome from complete beginner to experienced yogi.

What age can baby attend until?

For Mum and Baby I generally find that once babies are on the move the enjoyment of the class is reduced for them and Mum! So normally around 8 months at which point you can graduate to our Mamas and Movers class.

How soon can I attend postnatal classes?

Once you have had your six week (vaginal birth) or eight week (caesarean birth) check you are very welcome to join the classes.

What do I need to bring?

I recommend that you bring:

  • Yoga mat for yourself
  • Blanket for baby to lie on
  • Blanket to support yourself and make certain positions more comfortable
  • Any toys or snacks you might need to entertain your baby

Embark on your journey into parenthood with the unwavering support of a pregnancy and postnatal doula.  Feel supported and empowered through the joys and challenges of pregnancy and birth and nurtured during the delicate postpartum transition. I can offer practical assistance, emotional support and a listening ear so that you and your family can thrive during this transformative time.

What Is a Postnatal Doula?

A postnatal doula is a non medically trained professional who provides emotional, physical, and informational support to a mother and her family after childbirth. Doulas offer continuous care and advocacy to help support a positive experience into motherhood, no matter how birth has unfolded.

How Do Your Packages Work?

You can book postnatal sessions individually, purchase a postnatal package or enjoy sessions as part of a full pregnancy, birth and postpartum doula support package.

Why Might I Need a Postnatal Doula?

Evidence shows working with a postnatal doula gives you continuity of care, improves breastfeeding success, reduces postpartum depression and anxiety, and enhances maternal confidence.

What Is The Cost of Hiring a Postnatal Doula?

Postnatal support is available from £25/hour (minimum 3 hours) with upfront commitment to 5 sessions.  Individual sessions are charged at £35/hour (minimum 3 hours)

Sunday 22nd June, 12:30 – 4:30pm at Wimborne Wellness Centre

Join us for a rejuvenating Midsummer Mamas Afternoon Retreat, where you’ll connect with fellow mothers in a supportive and nurturing environment.
