CONNECTING WITH YOUR BODY AND BABY

Here’s what so many new mums tell me…

I know that after birth, your body feels different, your mind is full, and finding time for yourself feels impossible. These classes were designed to meet you exactly where you are – whether you’re ready to rebuild strength or simply need a gentle moment to breathe.  How many of these sound familiar?

My body feels so stiff and achey from all the feeding, rocking, bouncing, and co-sleeping.  Those newborn days take their toll, don’t they? My gentle yoga movements help ease out those postnatal aches and pains, so you can feel more comfortable in your body again.

I’m not really sure what’s going on “down there” after pregnancy and birth, how can I reconnect with my pelvic floor? You’re not alone – it can be hard to know where to start. I’ll guide you through simple, effective movements and techniques to help you safely rebuild strength and connection.

I just want a welcoming space to connect with my baby.  Babies remain engaged through movement, song and massage while we ensure that you get in the practice you need for your mind, body and soul.

I struggle to quieten the busy mind that comes with the mental load of motherhood.  It’s hard to switch off when your brain’s juggling feeds, naps, nappies (and everything else). I’ll guide you through calming visualisations and relaxation techniques to give your mind the rest it deserves.

I wish I could connect with other mums who get what I’m going through.  There’s nothing like being in a room full of women who just get it. We listen, support, and hold space – no judgement, just shared understanding. And conversations often continue after class on our WhatsApp group!

“My daughter and I have loved the postnatal yoga sessions.”

Jenna is so knowledgeable and a calming influence on both mum and baby. The sessions allow mums not only to concentrate on their post baby bodies but also share advice and give comfort to others on a down day. Definitely a must for a new mummy!
