PREGNANCY YOGA

Pregnancy yoga is an opportunity to take time to focus on your pregnancy and practice breathing, movement and relaxation techniques so you can prepare your body and mind for birth and beyond.

Wednesdays, 7:45 – 9:00pm, Embrace Yoga Studios, Wimborne

NAVIGATING YOUR PREGNANCY JOURNEY

Tell me if any of this resonates with you…

Here’s some of the most common conversations I have with mums to be thinking about joining my pregnancy classes.

Want to exercise during pregnancy but you’re not sure what’s safe? Oh yes, I’ve been there too!  My classes are specifically designed with pregnant bodies in mind and our welcome circle ensures I am aware of any issues you’re experiencing on the day of our practice.

Want a space to intentionally focus on your pregnancy and connect with your baby?  Life is busy right?!  Especially with babies 2,3,4+ it can be easy to forget you’re even pregnant!  Pregnancy yoga gives you a dedicated space each week to focus on your own wellbeing and connection with your baby.

Want to explore breathing and relaxation techniques for birth? Great idea, we cover different breathing techniques, visualisations and finish every class with a dreamy relaxation.

Starting to feel those pregnancy aches and pains? I hear you, your body is changing, your nights are disrupted, you are feeling stiffer than the tin man without his WD40.  Regular movement will help! Plus, we can adapt movements for any specific issues such as PGP.

Want to meet other local Mums to be and start building your village? Pregnancy yoga can help with that!  Our welcome circle ensures you start to get to know people in class and make connections before baby arrives.  Then you can all join me for postnatal mum and baby yoga down the road!

" Jenna’s pregnancy classes have been so lovely to go to through out my pregnancy! Highly recommend!"

I started going from 14 weeks on and off and now I have finally reach the end and will be back when my little one has arrived to start baby yoga!
The environment is always so relaxing and she always takes time to ask how everyone in the class is doing and feeling which I love!

ROSIE B-W

"Jenna has been amazing, highly recommend."

Before my first session I was quite nervous as I had tried yoga before and didn’t get on with it. Within minutes of being in Jenna’s class I felt completely different. She was really welcoming and it was great to meet other people who were at similar stages in their pregnancy.

EMILY A

" Jenna's pregnancy yoga class is a really lovely space to physically and mentally prepare for birth and parenthood"

Jenna creates a wonderful atmosphere to relax and share experiences in and she is always warm, down to earth, and full of knowledge regarding research and official guidelines on pregnancy and birth. I attended the classes from week 15 to 36 of my pregnancy and found them appropriate throughout as Jenna offers adjustments depending on how you’re feeling in your body that day. Would highly recommend to any expecting mothers looking for some calming and positive “me-time” before the arrival of baby.

LEAH S

" Jenna’s pregnancy yoga class has been the perfect way to prepare for my birth."

Having time each week to block everything else out and focus on my body and my baby has helped me hugely mentally and physically throughout my second and third trimester.
